Feadship Sustainable Concept Yacht
Feadship is a leading yacht building company with an international reputation. Feadship approached me as an external specialist to help develop the sustainable concept yacht ‘Breathe’.
As creative director I was responsible for managing the design team, developing a vision and advising on concept development. With sustainability as a core value, we explored Biomimicry, which is about sustainable innovation with nature as a source of inspiration. Due to the long lifespan of the product, we wanted a timeless design with an innovative and sustainable appearance.
The concept yacht 'Breathe' consists of sustainable systems and solutions derived from nature and uses natural energy sources available in the immediate vicinity: sun, wind and water flow.
