June 30 2008 / Beachlife featuring Pharaoh furniture
Pharaoh furniture is featured in Beachlife, the new book by Frame Publishers about the best designed interiors, architecture and outdoor furniture that fits on beaches and waterfronts. Quote by Frame: “Clean, light and decorative, mosaic has been used for centuries to finish walls and floors. Giving the material an extra dimension, designer Alfred van Elk covered the svelte form of this Pharaoh chair with Opus Romano glass mosaic tiles from Bisazza. The low backrest or armrest gently curves like a glistening wave. Several chairs positioned back to back or side by side merge with one another to form a visual entity”.
